HyperSilence.net exists so that you can find and download, for free, the open source PHP scripts I've coded. It's also somewhat of a personal site because you can view pictures of my 1972 Firebird and my 1979 Trans Am. The site was first online June 23, 2005, created with the help of Notepad++ and Adobe Photoshop. This is the fifth layout. There are thirteen PHP scripts.

Small Addition to Silentum Boards v2.2 posted on August 1, 2008

It's a little feature that can prove to be very useful. Under the Registration section of the "Settings" page is a new option to enable or disable random password generation. This will be helpful to anyone who doesn't have sendmail enabled on their server. When this option is disabled, users choose their own password while registering, so they don't have to wait for their password in an email. It was such a small addition, I decided to keep the version number (v2.2) the same. This can also be found in the three upgrade packages on the Silentum Boards page.

Silentum Boards v2.2 Released posted on August 1, 2008

The biggest change in this version deals with CAPTCHA images. There are now two new settings for administrators to enable or disable CAPTCHAs (near the bottom of the "Settings" page) on both the registration and login pages. I've also done something I've never done before with my scripts. On the page for Silentum Boards, there are six files up for download. The first three include every file you need to install the boards. The last three include only update files, which should be downloaded if you already have v2.1 installed. Enjoy.

Happy Anniversary posted on June 23, 2008

Had to wait a day longer this year because of February 29, but it finally arrived. Today, June 23, 2008 is the three year anniversary of HyperSilence.net, though you probably already figured that out from the colorful logo change today. In celebration of the anniversary, all users with more than one post on the Boards will receive a 30 Karma bonus, in addition to the 1 if you logged in yesterday. Four years, here we come.

Silentum Boards v2.1 Released posted on June 20, 2008

No, this isn't another April Fool's joke. This time they're really being released. It's the biggest script I've ever released, so there are bound to be some small errors here and there. If you find anything, either report it (appropriately enough) at the boards, or send it to me in an email. The script is available for download here. Enjoy.

Silentum RndImg v1.0.0 Released posted on June 2, 2008

I know I've been lacking in site updates lately, but I've finally got around to coding a new script. It's probably even more weightless in code than Silentum Counter, which I didn't think was possible. It's a random image rotator called, appropriately enough, Silentum RndImg.
